""Los Grandes - Evita Perón : Energia Sobrenatural" is a straightforward biography of Eva Perón (Spanish), in paperback, with various pictures scattered throughout. The author keeps things impartial and to the point, and although it offers no new insight, it is still an interesting read. It deals with the usual stuff- Eva's childhood, her years as an actress, as First Lady and charitable works, the embalming of her corpse and her legend. There are better books out there if you want to dig deeper into Eva's life story and her politics, such as the works written by Maryssa Navarro, Nicholas Fraser, Felipe Pigna, J.M Taylor and to a lesser degree, Alicia Dujovne Ortiz (I recommend her biography in Spanish as opposed to the edited and sloppy English translation). As a curiosity and collector's item, it is worth it if you are able to obtain a good, used copy at a reasonable price. For those wanting a more in depth biography, I recommend the works by the others listed in my review."
