- The first time I read this book I read it in a spirit of fun... the stories are great, and Segal really gives you a feeing for "how the other half lives." The second time I read it, I was just starting to shop for a car, and all I can say is, this book paid for itself many times over. I had never purchased a used car from a dealer before, because I always had this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that I was going to lose no matter what. Bottom line?
